چکیده

ABSTRACT: Actinomycetes are one of the important secondary metabolite producers. Researchers focused on exclusive marine areas for isolation and identification actinomycetes. The present study Nocardiopsis dassonovillei (ON627850) from TS Pettai region. potential strainTSP1 showed effective antibacterial activity against Haemophilus influenza. TSP1 isolates IC50 value 75.22 μg/ml antioxidant determined by DPPH assay. Cytotoxicity assay results were noted ethyl acetate extract screened oral cancer cell lines (KB). spectral characterization studies UV, FT-IR GC-MS identified compound 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol. multi-potential 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol finally docked with KB protein drug discoveries.

Deep Sea Actinomycetes and Their Secondary Metabolites

Deep sea is a unique and extreme environment. It is a hot spot for hunting marine actinomycetes resources and secondary metabolites. The novel deep sea actinomycete species reported from 2006 to 2016 including 21 species under 13 genera with the maximum number from Microbacterium, followed by Dermacoccus, Streptomyces and Verrucosispora, and one novel species for the other 9 genera. Eight gener...

Discovery of novel metabolites from marine actinomycetes.

Recent findings from culture-dependent and culture-independent methods have demonstrated that indigenous marine actinomycetes exist in the oceans and are widely distributed in different marine ecosystems. There is tremendous diversity and novelty among the marine actinomycetes present in marine environments. Progress has been made to isolate novel actinomycetes from samples collected at differe...

Secondary metabolites from marine microorganisms.

After 40 years of intensive research, chemistry of marine natural products has become a mature field. Since 1995, there are signals of decreased interest in the search of new metabolites from traditional sources such as macroalgae and octocorals, and the number of annual reports on marine sponges stabilized. On the contrary, metabolites from microorganisms is a rapidly growing field, due, at le...

Production of Induced Secondary Metabolites by a Co-Culture of Sponge-Associated Actinomycetes, Actinokineospora sp. EG49 and Nocardiopsis sp. RV163

Two sponge-derived actinomycetes, Actinokineospora sp. EG49 and Nocardiopsis sp. RV163, were grown in co-culture and the presence of induced metabolites monitored by ¹H NMR. Ten known compounds, including angucycline, diketopiperazine and β-carboline derivatives 1-10, were isolated from the EtOAc extracts of Actinokineospora sp. EG49 and Nocardiopsis sp. RV163. Co-cultivation of Actinokineospor...

Extraction and Identification of Antibacterial Secondary Metabolites From Marine Streptomyces sp. VITBRK2

Actinomycetes were isolated from marine sediment samples collected from the east coast of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Well diffusion and agar plug methods were used for the evaluation of antibiotic production by these isolates against drug resistant Methicillin- resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin resistant Enterococci (VRE). The potential isolate VITBRK2 was mass cultured for...
